I am actively searching for the ancestors of William A. Menzer: parents Louis Menzer and Charlotte (Charlotta) Mitchell (Michel) from Germany. William married Emma Quirk in the late 1800's in Michigan, and my grandmother, Pearl Catherine Menzer, was born to them. Emma became ill and was hospitalized for four years in Chicago. During this time, William deserted them. No divorce papers found for William and Emma. William lived with, and twice married Elma Rodamer, claiming he was a widower. They later had two children, both of whom died without children. I am actively searching for relatives of William, as he disappeared from the family and his memory and traces completely disappeared along with him.
