Jones Johnston was born in 1833 in Salsbury NY. His parents are LySander Johnston and Diantha Vansteenburg. Jones married Marsena/Marcena M. Reynolds (b. 1838-d.1910). They married by 1857 in Boonville,Oneida NY region. They had 2 children. Fred M. Johnston and Carrie Estelle Johnston.
Jones and Marsena are buried in the Protestant cemetery in Allegany NY. But are NOT buried together. He passed away the winter of 1922. At the time of this picture was taken he was blind.
