Great Grandparents having a Laugh in Providence

William John Wylie, Sr

d- 5 Jan 1947 in Oxnard, Ventura, California, USA

Edith Mae (Collins) Wylie
b- 5 May 1897 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island, USA
d- Apr 1964 in Smithfield, Providence, Rhode Island, USA

Note- They separated shortly after this photo was taken as William apparently had an extramarital affair and had a son out of wedlock (No evidence found to support). In late 1946, William moved to Oxnard, CA where his daughter, Hazel (my Grandmother) was living with her second husband, Rex O'Hara and her son from her first marriage, Bruce (my Dad), then on the day after Christmas, while painting a house (his profession), he fell from a scafold, puncturing his lung, bruising his heart, breaking numerous bones, etc.; eventually dying about a week later on 5 Jan 1947 (four days prior to my dad's 4th birthday).
