Hess Family History

On three pages of a book entitled, "An Illustrated Account of the Holy Bible" by John Kitto, 1870, there are birth dates, and death dates, of members of the Hess family. It appears that Simon William Hess recorded the names and birth dates of his four children, on the first page, and his wife, Elizabeth Calahan, recorded the name, death date, and age at death, of her husband, also on page 1. Their daughter, Mary Jane Hess, recorded her name and birth date, and the names, birth dates, and death dates, of her siblings, and the name and death date of her father, on page 2, and also recorded the names and death dates of her mother, and her daughter, on page 3.
