My name is Dorothy or just Dot Horlick, my husband is Henry John Vincent Horlick,

We are from South Africa, but the Horlick family originated from England and so you have to be related some where along the line, we are not to well known with the family line in America, but we have the Horlick family line back to 1189, on CDs.

Sir James Horlick the partner of William Horlick of "Horlick Malted Mil" fame, was made a Baronette by the the King of England for his work on the project.

His grandson paid a genealogist to research the family back to as far as he could go in 1922.

The genealogist did that, and made 4 type written copies of 2 volumes, so only the 4 copies was in existence, A few years ago a Horlick family member visited with the present Sir John Horlick, who gave him a copy on CD of the 2 volumes of the Horlick book.

We were sent copies of these and I am willing to share them with you, they are a bit hard to interpret, but I can also send you our interpretation.
