Thanks for your response. Well, that's impressive to trace it back to at least 1661. I think the best I can do is the 18th century. Its possible that Hans Graf born 1661 in La Sagneule, Switzerland, is related, but at the same time, its also possible he is not.
I am directly related to the Graf family on my dad's side and am trying to put together a fuller family history. What do you know (if anything) about the Grafs in Hungary?
