Hi Barbara. My maternal 2nd great grandfather Putnam Beauregard Wolcott was married to a Cora Evelina Stedge. Surname could have been Stage and changed to Stedge by her father according to one rumor I have heard. I have next to nothing about her other than she was the mother of Putnam's six children and that their marriage ended in divorce. There is a slight indication that Cora may have died soon after the divorce or before it was completed, but I have no documentation confirming that one way or the other. She seemingly dropped off the planet after 1905 which is the year Putnam filed the divorce papers, I have a newspaper clipping of that.Putnam%20B%20Wolcott%20files%20divorce%20paperwork%20against%20E.jpg
