I just see that you just joined Genealogy Wise but not the Carder group. You need to go to the top where it says groups and click on there. Where it says All groups in the drop down menu, click on that and then put Carder in the search box. That will take you to the group to join it and put your Carder info there. I didn't realize that the invitation only got you into Genealogy Wise to make your profile and then you have to join any groups you want to be in as a second step. I'm new on here too. Just joined yesterday so am just figuring it out myself.
I haven't searched through the groups yet but I'd bet there are some Native American groups on here that you might be interested in joining also or maybe groups for your other surnames.
So glad that you joined the group. Hopefully, someone will join who can connect our Carders to the other Carders who came out of Culpeper County. This group id on more place that other Carder descendants can find us and maybe we'll finally find out who our John M. Carder's parents were. Maybe even find out more about our Native American ancestors.
