I just had to drop you a note.... And a link to take a look at, if you would. It is a picture of my father, Lewis Peck, taken in his late 80s. The resemblance to you is truly amazing! Well, the ears are a bit different....Very dominant 'Peck' genes.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how you two are related, but I suspect you must be, somewhen back. My great grandfather is a major brick wall. The only hints I have for him are that he was born in 1851 (if that is correct) and born somewhere in NJ (if the censuses are correct). New Jersey is a big place. His name was Edward Harold Peck, and he moved to the Cleveland OH area in the early-mid 1800s. After that, all his associations were with his inlaws, and there are no clues going back to NJ. I did find one EH Peck of roughly the right age in NJ, but he had a full rich life somewhere else, so was not my guy.
I don't expect that you have any information on my mystery, but I did have to share the picture of my father. You could be twins....
