I am John U. Lyon 11 of Tucson, Arizona (johnlyon1130@comcast.net) Charles Joseph Lyon was my Fraternal Grandfather. He was born in 1864 the son of a Doctor in Abbeville, South Caroline. "Charlie" Lyon was elected Sheriff of Abbeville County. After18 years as Sheriff, he was appointed the the federal post of U.S. Marshall stationed in Greenville South Carolina. He died in Abbeville in 1939 and is buried in Long Cane cemetary
