From what I gather from your comment is that you are indeed distantly related to me. MY Tolliver line goes: JR COX/ JO MAXYMOW/JEAN GWINN SADIE COZORT/ MARTHA ELLEN TOLLIVER/ WILLIAM JOHN TOLLIVER/ALLEN S TOLLIVER/ HIRAM TOLLIVER/ JESSE TOLLIVER ( FRANCES STAMPER)
If you are descended from the Taliaferro/Tolliver family then you would be my cousin. I would need to know when Jesse lived and his spouse. Its possible that if he isn't listed as Tolliver that he might be listed as Taliaferro. I have a Jesse Tolliver being listed as the son of a John Tolliver and an Elizabeth Symes.Jesse married a Martha Frances Stamper. They had at least one son named Hiram.
I know some about the Tollivers/Talaiferro's is one of the oldest families of Va. orginally from
