I think that you may have a family connection through the Gerstenschlager line to me

Currently I am researching the Gerstenschlager branch of my family tree. I have found several old Roots Web postings that have your name with content that may be helpful to me.

My grandmother was a daughter of Fred Gerstenschlager who settled in the Marshallville area of Ohio. Fred was a son of Georg Gerstenschlaeger who immigrated with his wife Marguerite and his children. Georg is my great-great grandfather. One of Georg’s brothers was Michael who married Elizabeth Wausheimer (not sure of the correct spelling.)

I would very much appreciate any information that you would be willing to share. I am currently communicating with a possible family connection in Colorado. She is in the Illinois group of Gerstenschlagers. We are trying to establish the parentage for Georg, Michael and the other brothers who settled in Ohio. Johann Melchior Gerstenschlaeger, who settled in Perryville, Il comes up in some family trees.
