Hi Carrie, Two of my messages do not appear to have gotten through, it seems like there is a limit here on how much you can write. Maybe we will have to do it through regular email. Did you get my first email I sent? Let me know please, I plan to send it to your email.
Oh No!! I wrote this whole long email/message to you last night about family history and I didn't copy it, and obviously I did something else wrong because it is not showing up today!! I guess I will start over! but not tonight, I hope you don't mind if I do it again on Monday. I am still getting used to this system, I am a newbie!! Happy Easter!
Hi Carrie, I had sent this to your email, but thought maybe you didn't recieve it so I am reposting it here. Looking forward to hearing from you...
also, a correction, my Grandmother was also known as Hazel Dorothy Virginia
Hi Carrie,
I guess we are cousins! Great to meet you. My Grandmother was your Fathers sister. My Grandmother was Hazel Virginia born: Nov. 27th, 1904 she married Finley B. Gray and she died April 9th, 1973. Their oldest son James F. was my father. They lived in Washington, Pa. and moved there after they were married abt. 1920.
I have been working on this line for at least 10 years, also the Hileman line & the Smith line (first husband of Matilda). I wonder what you know so far, could you write back and let me know about what you know. One thing I can tell you is if you have the genealogy that Aunt Grace did, there are a few mistakes in it. I have accumulated information with the help of Velma Jean who is the daughter of Aunt Idella. There is another cousin who is accumulating information without confirming the source and she has incorrect information also. I am just telling you this so you are aware. There are some holes left to fill in, I am happy you found me on FB, I look forward talking with you further.
