Your wife is decended from my Hoover , Huber family I come down through Bertoldus in Bern Switerland to Andreas, whose parents migrated to Germany,but were Swiss citizens and gave birth to Andreas in Germany. Andreas then migrated to America and had 10 children one being Jonas, of which is my 3rd grt grandfather. His brother was John who is pres. Herbert Hoover's 3rd Grt Grandfather,who is my5th cousin. Would like to hear more about your wife's lineage.

My Uncle ()Grt-Uncle) Doc - Benjamin Franklin Hoover said that he was President Hoover's 3rd cousin. Which would make my father a 4th cousin and myself a 5th cousin. Hum,sounds like we could be related... My grt grandfather John Hoover's brother Peter used to wright to Jesse Hoover . they were 1st cousins. Is your wifes family Quaker ? My grt grandfather was a Quaker. He Spoke German, but was actualy from Switzerland and learned German in School. What was your wifes parents and grandparents names ?
