Hi Christine! well, naturally I don't have a Lyman Mix in my records, but if they are from Connecticut there's going to be a link somewhere I'm sure! I will keep my eye out, I've managed to collect a lot of old genealogy and town books from used bookstores and am always hunting...! :-)

Hi Christine! Nice to meet you! I'm SURE we're related if you have a Mix in your line! But anyway, my Mix line started with Thomas Mix of New Haven Connecticut, d. 1691, lots of children later, a Collins Mix moved to Tioga County, NY after the Revolutionary War. What's the oldest Mix you have? As for Bliss, my Bliss line starts with Thomas Bliss of Rehoboth, MA, died around 1649, a daughter marries a Nicholas Ide, and then that's the end of my direct Bliss line.
