Christine Zirkle, daughter of George Adam Zirkle and Elizabeth Ridenour, married Martin Rupe. Their daughter, Catherine, married John Kay Fife. Their daughter, Mary Jane, married Arthur Elwood Macoubrie, my g-g-g-grandmother. Are we related?

Yes, Claiborne Co. is in East TN. I didn't find Eli or your Nancy Brewer there but haven't yet looked at census data for TN which is easy to search online.
Now I will have to go back and research the Brewer family in Claiborne Co., TN a little more closely. I didn't know about William's second wife because my information was gained while entering Larry Pendergraft's direct line in my database. Larry had a good Pendergraft et al web site online years ago but it seems to have been taken down.
