Yes there are two of us. According to my tree, we are 9th cousins, once removed. My line is James, Thomas, Martin Sr., John Sr., Edward Sr/Joel, Edward Jr, John, Josephus, John Edward, John Williamson, John Dwight, and me Dale Brian.
I was born & raised in Southern Illinois. My Elam clan migrated from Virginia to North Carolina about 1822. Then then moved on to Sumner Co, Tennessee about 1830, and finally to So Illinois about 1833.
I am retired and now live in Charlotte, NC--about an hour from where my ancesters were in the 1800's.
