I'm sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Besides being my first cousin, he was a good friend. He and I shared information for many years so we probably have most of the same information.
I did some checking but haven't gone over everything I have. One of the most significant later finds for me was Mary Jane Hill White Cook's application for Civil War Widow's Pension that gave location of her first husband's death. (Virgil Caldwell White -Jim's and my great grandfather). It was Lamar County, TX and previous information had indicated the Mt. Pleasant area in Titus Co. I think I posted it on ancestry.com.
If you saw my info before I gave up my membership last month you have almost all that I have. It's still available though, because it's been copied to other family trees.
What part of White family history interests you most?

It's good to hear from you. Have you done a lot of research on the White family?
You said James White "was" your grandfather. Is he no longer living?
