The Orange County California Genealogical Society is a non-profit, educational organization in Huntington Beach with 500 members. Its purpose is to collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge and information in regards to genealogy and related historical, biographical and heraldic data. It strives to instill and promote interest and instruction in genealogical research.
OCCGS provides full maintenance and development of the Genealogy Collection housed at the Huntington Beach Central Library (Lower Level) that currently contains over 17,000 volumes. http://www.occgs.com
My husband's grandfather Hubert Berens immigrated into the U.S. about 1870. He was born in Oberveischede, , Westphalia, Germany and have traced them back to about 1732 or five generations from Hubert. He lived in PA at first and by 1880 he had married and had 3 kids and was living in western Iowa in Shelby Co. and lster moved one county over to Harrison Co. near the town of Dunlap, Iowa

I have Berens/Berns family from Luxembourg and possibly Germany.
