It has been quite a few years since I did research on my husband's surname. His Hollowell family started in North Carolina and through the generations moved to Alabama, Arkansas and Texas, where my father-in-law was born. I do have a binder of photocopied, typewritten pages written by an unknown Hollowell relative, about 89 pages long, of the descendants of Thomas and Mary (Peele) Hollowell, some who remained in North Carolina and some who moved to Indiana. There is no index and all of the names start with HO not HA although of course the names could be interchangeable depending on the penmanship of the record keepers throughout the years. There is no index but the three chapters are: The Hollowells in Virginia, The Hollowells in North Carolina and The Hollowells in the Mid-West. Let me know if you have a name you'd like me to look for and I'll be happy to do that.
