Hi I am researching Turners in early Maryland. Samuel Turner grandson of Edward Turner. He married Verlinda McPherson daughter of Alexander McPherson. Anyway just wanted to let you all know what I am currently researching, and see if anyone else is looking into this family or related families

Do you know about the Genealogical Society in Clay county? They have tons of information on both Clay and Vigo County. Here is there website http://www.ccgsilib.org/ Also if the were married in Clay County at one time Bowling Green was the county seat and the court house burned and of course all the records were lost. another place to try is the Indiana State Library in Indianapolis..Are you local?
