Hello DeeDee !

Don't know the tribe just the story is that she was Indian.  Her married name was DABBS (Sarah Roxana Dabbs).  Some have Sarah Roxanne Dabbs.  She had a daughter Roxie Dabbs born in Indian Territory, OK 1893 and died in MS in 1967 or so.

Don't have any information on cemetary . . . just died in Wynnewood, OK., 1894.

Thanks for responding 2 me.  My GGM b.1860 MS d. 1894 Wynnewood, OK . . . All of her immediate famly, cousins, aunts, uncles, were born and died in Mississippi 623 miles away.  Real dilemna "IF correct info, HOW DID SHE GET TO OK??? documented from book "Descendants of Isaac Suttle, Jr."

Family tale is that my GGM Sarah Roxana (Roxie) was an Indian child taken in by Ann Suttle GGGM.  My GM was 4'9" and said her mother was even smaller.  

IF she indeed died in OK, had she joined her Indian relatives who had elected to leave Noxapater, MS ???

I am 61 and hope I can figure this out before I meet my Maker . . . lol.
