Diane, In 2009 - you made a reference to Drakes and Bruce having a connection.
Now, I have no idea of the previous discussion which this was part of - but I have been trying to figure out my own Drake/Bruce connection with little success. (William Sutton Drake apparently married a Jane Bruce - approximately 1837/38. He was from Sussex/Warren County, NJ; They both resided there until her death in abt 1853/54.)
Haven't been able to locate her parents, family, etc...
Do you know much about Jonathan's brother Benjamin Glazier b: 1750 d: 1827? I think he is the father of my ancestor Asa Glazier. Benjamin married first Elizabeth Pepper and then Lydia Cummings. Asa named one of his sons Benjamin Cummings Glazier. Benjamin ended up in Virgil, Cortland, NY and Asa ended up in Cherry Valley, Otsego, NY. The only other Glazier in Otsego County is Jacob Glazier who married Mary Whitcomb; I have not been able to find any of his children.
Welcome to the Wixon-Wickson Families group! I'm putting some thought into how to organize this from the beginning to make it as useful as possible for what I know are many and varied Wickson family lines. It would be great if you have any thoughts or ideas to contribute, and I'd like to hear about your Wickson ancestry/lines/research.
