Hi Frank, I am trying to get a message to James Joseph Corless, but I cannot find a space to answer directly to him. Have you Corless connections yourself? If you could ask James to contact me again, I will see what I can do to help him. Thanks Catherine Corless.Galway Ireland.
Thanks for contacting me. I did not hear from Catherine Corless regarding our common surname. I have hit a brick wall in my family tree. He is my great grandfather Michael Corless, born somewhere in Ireland in 1865. His parents were William Corless and Mary Maloney also from Ireland. Michael came to the US on April 27, 1882 arriving in New York City.In 1886 he married Louisa McLaughlin, also an Irish native. He died in 1917 in New York. I have not been able to locate his death certificate but I know he was buried in Queens NY with his first wife Louisa. I would be happy to invite you to view my Ancesrty.com site if you are interested. I would need your email address.
