Hi Ginger - I was up in Cumberland Co PA outside Dillsburg walking Filey's Church cemetery. There are some Laucks buried there. From the road the name looks like Laughs. I am going back up there to photograph some of the other stones there. If you want I can take pictures of the Laucks too. Let me know.

I \have a number of Loucks family members that are related to my Nellis family. The information begins with Johann Dietrich Loucks and his wife Maria Catharina. They were a Palatine family that came to america in 1710. They are listed in Henry Z Johes' Palatine Families books.

Hi Ginger - sorry for any confusion. No I am not connected to the Loucks Family. Just saw that name alot this evening. I live in Dover PA which is northwest of York. My York area names are Wolford, Kleffman, Bartels and Allen.

Hi Ginger - coming home from bowling a little while ago I was on Loucks Road. I live in the York PA area. Then while looking at my e-mail there was a post on the Scholarie (sp) Co. NY for a Loucks Family. Then I saw your name in the members list. Figured I would comment. Jim Avery, Dover PA
