While it has changed and developed along the highway, the heart of Norman remains much the same. I don't see Bruce Vaudry in the phone book, so perhaps you are right. The name certainly rings a bell, but I haven't heard it for a long time.

My Scotts were, according to my historian great-aunt, from Fife. My own research indicates that they were more likely from Wilton parish area in Roxburgh. James Scott m. Janet Bleakie in 1822 (I have not found records to confirm this, nor do I know where they were married). The couple emigrated to Burnbrae, ON in 1834 with two children (I have not yet found their birth info).
