Welcome to the new Gurd group. I'm really pleased at the way it's growing over the first few days. Your Gilbert Joseph Burden was of course the great grandson of Anne Gurd who married John Osmond in 1769. There are other connections to the Gurds as well and of course to the Haime(s) family (with their various spellings!). Running a search on the tree for Haime with no first names, will show you that there are several branches of the family which haven't yet been linked. There is little doubt that they do link, but finding time to work it out is a problem as the Gurds keep us busy.Perhaps you can see possible links on the Haime trees?
