I was glad to hear from you. My Schwichtenbergs never came to the US as far as I know. My great grandmother, Caroline Augustine Schuetz, was the daughter of Johann Friedrich Schuetz and Maria Schwichtenberg. She ended up in Milwaukee and married there. Friedrich was from Drenow and Maria was from Ost Deep. Both were part of Pommern in Prussia. I have Maria's father and mother and step mothers but there my information ends. There was another Schwichtenberg in town named Friedrich and his father was also named Friedrich. I think that Maria's father, Christian, was probably a brother to the younger Friedrich but I have no records to support that thought. Where are your Schwichtenbergs from? Terry
