My ggg grandfather Isaac Beecroft was born 1797, in Bramley, England, he came to the USA, through the port of Baltimore in 1812. From there he went to Stanton, DE, to NJ, finally settling in W. Philadelphia, PA, where he died about 1842. His parents were George Beecroft, b. 1776, Bramley, and Sarah Rogers. They arrived at the port of Baltimore in 1815, settling right outside Trenton, NJ. George is the son of Isaac and Ann (Bateman) Beecroft. They also had sons, Abraham, John, Joseph and Isaac.
Hello. I just noticed that we are both researching the surname Beecroft. My gg grandmother was Sarah Ann Beecroft, born in West Philadelphia, PA, in 1830.
I've seen his headstone! We used to live in Santaquin.
I'm not related to that Thomas, but a dear friend of mine is through marriage. She and I compared pedigrees once, and found no connection. Yet.
Hello, Jim,
I found you as another researcher for the surname 'Broadbent'. My paternal grandmother was a Broadbent. The family settled in Kanab, Utah, where my father was born.
Could we have names in common?
