It does make sense that Hosea Riggs would be Isom's father since both Hosea Riggs and John Woods settled in Turkey Hill.

I have not found out yet if Hosea was Isom Riggs' father. I am connected through Isom's wife Mary Woods. She is a sister to William Woods my G-G-G Grandfather.
It's great you are a Riggs descendant.
I do have a tree on Ancestry and have been working on the Riggs lately - but mostly on descendants. I am pretty sure he was born in St. Clair county. I need to pick that back up and look around some more.
