Oh my goodness! I believe the family of Powell's some of u r trying to get info, r my family! I know very little abut my mother's side of my family. My mother's maiden name Powell. Her father's name was Colin Perdee Powell. They lived in Robeson County, NC. (Marietta). Colin P. powell' father was Nicholas Powell. He was apparently married 2x. 2nd time to Aly Standley-Powell. I can't find anything ant her.

hello john,this is dixie gilbert, i have a several brittain powells and it seems they came from duplin and new hanover co,nc to taylors bridge,sampson co.,nc. seems mine stayed in sampson co.nc. the first brittain powell born in sampson is 1814. if I can be of help let me know.
