I managed to upload one picture. Trial bases you know. Big help. Are the albums different from pictures? Also, can you add 100 pictures total, or is that albums.
Thank You,
Jeanne
Thanks for the add! My Lowry family came to Pennsylvania via Delaware in 1776. My direct ancestors stayed in Northeastern PA until my grandparents and my father moved to Western New York.
In checking my file for the names you mentioned, I got excited, as I have a James Arthur Lowry, born 23 March 1901, died July 1969, son of Robert M. Lowry (1872-1950) and Mary Veronia Williams (1876-1977). Close, but no cigar.
My direct lineage is:
George Lowry, died 1770, married Margaret Lowry died 1812, m 1745
Hugh Lowry, died 1828, married Mary Harvey, born about 1740
William H. Lowry, 1802-1879, married Eliza Sherrick (1810-1892)
William Thomas Lowry 1835-1903, married Lydia Jane Gibson (1844-1884), m 1864
Joseph Arthur Arnold Lowry, 1880-1949, married Alice Jane McDonald (1882-1964)
Joseph McDonald Lowry, Sr., 1913-1994, married Mary Lenor Long (1913-2002), m 1935
Joseph McDonald Lowry, Jr.
Tara Denea Lowry
All the men but George and Hugh were born in Pennsylvania. Hugh and his brothers and their mother came to the US after George's death.
Do you have ancestors in NY or PA, or just the southern states? Mine are said to have come from County Down, Northern Ireland - how about yours?
Tara
Cheers!
