I was looking at the area in germany you are researching and also the name Wagner...I know someone who has Wagner lines and has done EXTENSIVE research there. If you don't mind I will ask him if I can give you his email.

Hey there Joyce!
I just read your email and I have a SCHMIDT in my records. Christini SCHMIDT married Johann David BAUER. Their descendants eventually moved to Pennsylvania where many of them still are. I'm not sure of Christini and Johann's birth/death dates/places, but their son, Charles Albert BAUER was in U;m, Germany in 1837. He died in Pittsburgh.
