Dear Judy,
I love your blog posts that come thru and read each of them, they are fantastic. I am still working on the Druck Line, but not as hard as I was . I have had a few falls and my porch swing broke while I was sitting on it and I went tumbling over the side of the porch hitting my hip on the way down. Norwood (Woody) Druck is the Norwood that is related to me that I email back and forth with. We have links to each other's tree and he is going to send me headstone pics of the Drucks in the Cemetery, I forgot the name of it!!!It's in the Cincinatti area where a lot of the Druck's settled, before some migrated down here to Louisville.
Once all my internal bruising heals up(ribs mostly) and my bruising of my hip heals up I will begin back in on the Druck's hot and heavy again. The arrial date that I sent to you is incorrect for Fredrick Druck as I found his wife's arrival date later. So I removed that arrival date as it is my understanding that many of the men came over first to settle and sent for the rest of the family.Any way, just wanted to touch bases with you. Lots of love to a potential cousin!!!!
Hi Judy,
Just seen the email about the post. It is my understanding virtually all the Druck's in Louisville are related. My husband is Timothy Eugene Druck , the son Of Betty Myers Druck and Jerry Druck. Jerry Druck is the son of Norwood Druck who is deceased but his wife is still alive. I have not done alot of research on the Druck's as I am not very close to my husbands extended family. My husband is not interested in his decendants, he is like alot of people in his family that only are concerned of the living.I on the other hand, use the time in researching my family and it is a therapy of sorts for me. It is my understanding that the Druck are from Germany, but as I said I have not researched them. If I can be of any help to you, please feel free to email me. My Email address is---Peggy Druck greeneyedlady19582000@yahoo.com
