Hall: have a very, very old New England maternal line. In 1850's Rowan Co., N.C., grt grt grandfather Capt. Alfred Alexander Miller, CSA wed Mary (E. or C>?) Hall in a double ceremony when his only sister, Susan Rebecca Miller, became the first of of Mary's brother, "Squire", Capt. Abner Leander Hall.. They were the children of Isaac Anderson Hall back to "Col""Dr" John Hall (Jr.?) of 1750's Rowan Co., from Penn. A retired acting director of the CIA has "Col" Hall's "Pennsylvania Rifle" he brought with him to N.C. My 1700/1800's Greensboro families are Heath, Woollen, Malcolm, & Page.
