My great great grandfather was Thomas Powell born about 1835 in Nova Scotia. Don't know much about him, except he came to America, married my great great grandmother Julia Peabody in 1860 in Buchannon County Missouri, they lived in Kansas and Missouri and he died in the civil war of disease in 1865. Its a long shot, but would love to find a connection!
