WOW!!! Does your husband know how Henson came to be in Texas and Oklahoma? My grandfather passed away when I was 4 and everyone in the family that I asked said Henson never talked about his family. What little I do know came from a cousin in West Texas that doesn't share much. I would be more than happy to share what I have. You can email me at kdgtteacher@yahoo.com if you'd like. Do you have any idea how John and Martha died? We've been told they were killed in an Indian raid. However, what I can find they died 2 years apart.

Yes...they were my GGGrandparents. Their son Henson A. Shorter was my GreatGrandfather.
