Good to hear from you Sonja, Odd that you mention the Davis surname because that was my maiden name lol. I will have to get my notes together on the O'Barr side and see if we can make a connection. My O'barr family moved to Arkansas and dropped the last r some where down the line.

Hello Lisa, It's great to here from someone who might even be related. I am hoping that I can actually be of help to you! My family is from the O' Barr, Amelia who was an Franks before marrying into the O' Barr family. Some of the family married into the Davis side. My GGG Grandmother Mary Jane Polly Doss m. Otho Thorp 1st and then m. John Henry Davis. Her daughter is my GG Grandmother Lidia Thorp who m. John Lewis Franks, these two are the parents of my G Grandmother Mary Elizabeth Franks who m. Robert Tillman Harris. Who is the parents of my Grandfather William Clarence Harris, father of my father William Charles Harris. My Aunt ask that I give you her e-mail address Audie4@live.com she and I are working on getting as well as giving information. Feel free to contact her at anytime.
