Yes, I have the same info as you do on my gggfather, James Steele, married to Elizabeth Kerr. He did marry Jane Kay, but I have to do more research to find out what happened to them.
I don't have a death place for James. His son, James, married to Elizabeth Wylie, died while crossing the plains in Bitter Creek, Sweetwather, Wyoming. He was buried along the trail. One of his sons, William George, was my grandfather. I am still pretty much a beginner at genealogy, but I do have records that my mom and other relatives have kept. I will look in to James Steele and Jane Kay's family and see what I can find.
