Not sure if Nancy is a direct decendant. However I have seen her name in my research..for the time being, I'm trying to stay on a direct line back. But too many choices to review. Thanks
Another Newbie! I'm researching Kilgores. My lines, so far goes back to Robert Kilgore b. 1735 m. Winnie Clayton b 1741.Have you information on this line/ Not too sure how to use this website, so johnkilgore@satx.rr.com is my email.
Thanks for the invite, I only found your email, yesterday as it had gone into my spam box (along with several other important messages). I haven't done any more Macon research but have been contacted recently by a Hager relative. We are in the process of swapping info.
The Nelson's came from Red Bay Alabama and settled, one brother, in
Granbury Texas. My Grandfathers name was William Alsey and my Dad's name was thurman Wilbur. My great grandfather came from RedBay with a free slave--Mango--who eventually returned to Alabama. My great grandfather has a Confederate marker on his grave and was a founding Mason member in Granbury, Texas.
Thanks for the invitation. I too think this will be fun. I am always interested in learning more. We still have so many more kinfolk to get to know! Wish they would pick up the lines and get on board...would love to know more of my cousins!
Hi Mary, thanks for the comment. The Wests are a recently-discovered line for me and I only have 3 generations going back to 1800 in South Carolina. I have lots more work to do on this line.
