(George) Michael Weisel, Pioneer Ancestor of the Pennsylvania Weisel Family, emigrated with his family from the Palatinate area of Germany on the ship John and William which arrived from Rotterdam to Philadelphia Oct 17, 1732.

I have limited information on this town, which no longer seems to be in existance. I was located near Bedminster at one time. My Weisel ancestors were given this land by William Penn's children. Most of it is under the Nockamixon River.See More
