Son Jacob m. Mary (Polly) Whisler (Andrew + Catherine HE___) in 1831. I've been verifying/correcting family history writings and met several who also seek Catherine's maiden name.

I am a Snodgrass, so we are related. We just have to find out which lines out of Scotland or Ireland we are in.

Hope fully, with a little help from a gentleman that I've been in touch with recently can get us the information. He is not a Snodgrass, but his ggg-grandfather was and change his name to marry a "Highlander's" daughter.

Was that Suzie Snodgrass Schoolcraft that you was working with?
