Hi - Any of your Cormans from Louisiana? Looking for one who fought with a Louisiana unit at Gettysburg.
Peter, Hello. I saw a post today on ancestry that you put there in 2007. It was about Alexander George McCormick and his wife Catherine B. McManus McCormick. I posted a response, but not sure if you'd see it.
My maiden name is McCormick and I descend from a younger brother of Alexander's named Robert. I am researching the family and have some info if you'd like it. I don't have any photos of Alex or know where he's buried (I'm looking for that). But I do have a pair of bull horns from off his ranch and a bit of info about him.
Let me know if you're interested.
Thanks,
Ellen (McCormick) Gerwitz
