Firstly,I should explain that I share the Gurd part of the tree with another Gurd descendant, Joy Lewis, although I generally organise the Gurds. The GURD tree is the mutual 'core' and then Joy and I also work on our other separate relatives.So, Alfred Gurd (1870) married Emma Kate Hull in 1903. Emma Kate's father was Edwin Hull (1849). Edwin's mother was Selina Burden (1815). Selina Burden's father was Jonah Burden (1787). Jonah's father was Jonah Burden 1742. Phew!!
There is also a link to the FOOT family (Joy's main family name), which is why she has added several generations of direct line Burdens. The mother of Eunice James,( who was the wife of Jonah Burden (1787)), was Mary FOOT. At present Joy can't confirm a link between Mary Foot and the main Foot tree, but is getting closer.
You can work your way from either end of the list of names to see the connection on the website. Merely run a search for their name and go through the generations.

I don't recognise any of the names on your list as being connected to my Gurd clan, but as the Donheads and Semley are such small villages, we may well link up in the DNA 'soup' of south Wiltshire.
