Hey Renee - How's summer going? I uploaded a bunch of pictures to my page. You should be able to click on them for a description. You should get a message from this post and follow it to my page and scroll down.
Hey Renee - good to hear from you. What is your e-mail address? It will be easier to send you information that way than on here. I also have some pictures you may be interested in. My email is localhistorynut@aol.com . It is interesting how things run in families. Your dad's Aunt Vivian Mader's daughter Suzanne just got her MSN and teaches nursing at a community college.
Hi Renee - Thought I would try again. I assume you are Gene and Jill's daughter. If so our Averys were probably English. My grandfather, your great great grandfather Clarence London Avery (1856-1939) was married to Catherine Burns whose father was from Ireland. She was born in Syracuse NY 1876 and died in Harrisburg 1946. Her father was James Byrne or Burns 1842-1934. He died in Syracuse and is buried there. He was married to Margaret Ford also from Ireland. James' parents were James Byrne and Cathererine O'Broderick. If I can be of any help let me know. Janet Avery who wrote you is descended from Clarence's brother Levi.
You must be Gene's daughter. I am your cousin Jim. Donna Moffett and Janet Avery are also your cousins. If you want to e-mail me directly I am at localhistorynut@aol.com Between Donna, Janet and I we have done a lot of Avery research in the past couple of years. We went to an Avery Reunion in Waverly NY this past August. I also have an Avery diswcussion group here, but regrettably I haven't done much with it. We will be glad to fill you in on our Avery research. Jim Avery, Dover PA
