My Friedrich ancestors came to California in the 1880's from Duderstadt, Germany and settled in California near Ventura.My grandmother was Margaret Friedrich Borchard. Her father was Adolph Friedrich. His parents were Franz Joseph Friedrich and Magdalena Huch. Franz Joseph's father was Ignatz Friedrich.
The Warren Wilcox that my Great Grandmother Amanda Stotts Fitz married in 1883 was born in 1845 and died at age 90 in 1935 in Iowa so there may or amy not be a connection further down the road. Warren had a son by his 1st wife by the name of Orson Jay Wilcox 1867 to 1947 and Orson Jay married Amanda Stotts Fitz and Jared Fitz's daughter Rose Fitz My Grandfather Marion Homer Fitz was Rose Fitz's older brother Keep in touch as you discover more things about your Wilcox line I had no idea until just recently my Great Grandmother had remarried a Wiicox after her husband died in 1882 in Ohio Smiles Valerie
