Hi Sarah - I haven't done anything more with my paragenealogy in Gettysburg. Been too busy with the Farnsworth House investigations. Had some interestin investigations there. Last Thursday, a lady and her husband were on my Ghost Hunt and they saw through their night vision goggles, a soldier pointing a gun at them, She wanted to head out to where he was and did so. They went out there and found a lot of activity. Doesn't happen all the time though. Ghost Hunters were there twice last week, but I didn't get to see them. I got to work with a group called Ghost Finders. Are you still planning on coming to Gettysburg? Farnsworth phone is 717-334-8838 my home number is 717-747-1334 and my cell is 717-801-8272..
Hi Sarah - someone asked me about motels in Gettysburg, but can seem to find the post. Maybe it was you and hope it isn't too late. A lot of people like the 1863 motel which used to be the Holiday Inn. I don't know about prices. I have some friends who stay at the Colton Motel. If that was you who asked and it isn't too late, let me know and I will think of some others
Hi Sarah - thanks for taking the time to read my forum post. It is hard to believe it has had 243 views! May I ask how you found it?
I have been addicted to genealogy for the past 40 years and specialize in Wolford-Wohlford research and in the Avery family from Northern Pennsylvania. I am also into ghost hunting and am employed leading Ghost Hunts at the Farnsworth House in Gettysburg. www.gettysburgshauntedaddress.com
This obviously isn't an exact science so I don't know how she interacts with me, but it happens. Lots of people believe that we have spirit guides who help us with leads as to who our ancestors were. My cousin, Donna collects stones from relatives grave sites and believes they have power. The last time we had a reunion in Bradford Co PA, we went to an old house which had been in Donna's family. I was tempted to take my ghost hunting equipment and see if we could find anything, but was afraid I would freak people out. Oh well.
Thanks again for looking and posting a comment.
