Thank you for the opportunity to bring Helm Researchers together ... I am searching for information on a Peter Helm, a German Cooper who lived in Philadelphia, PA. Peter Helm married Elizabeth on 1 Jan 1771 and their children were Jacob, b 1772, Margareta b. 1776, Peter b. 1779 and daughter Maria b. 1781. I believe this is the Peter Helm who Matthew Carey wrote much about along with Stephen Girouard during their heroic efforts during the Yellow Fever Plague in Philadelphia in 1793. Peter…See More
