Dave,
My Mauk's came from Tennessee. In fact, there are still Mauk's there. I don't recognize the name Walter E. Mauk and I don't know of any of my Mauk's who went to California. Sorry.
I am interested in your Mauk ancestry. My maternal grandfather was Walter E. Mauk who was born in 1902 and died in 1963 in Los Angeles. I know the family was from the Kentucky/Ohio area; but my mother and sisters moved out to California at a very young age.
I do not have much information on this side of my family and am looking for more. Are you familiar with this part of the Mauk family?

I do not think so, but I have not done a lot of research on this side of my family yet. Thanks for asking.
