I spent many summers and other school holidays there as a kid and teenager. I eventually emigrated to Canada...but always maintain a 'softspot' for the area, especially Harle Syke, where my gtrandparents lived.
I currently am a registered user of the Briercliffe Society website....and excellent resource.
I have, with their help, found gravesites, even photos going back to my g-g-grandfather and have added quite a bit of family info and many photos which I had into the websites archives.
Would likie to find distant cousins....of which I believe there must be many...in U.K., Canada, USA....and Australia...and who knows where else??
